INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS
AGITATION AGAINST TURKISH PEACE TERMS. Simla, Soptember I. A special session of the Indian National Congress, convened for the purpose of considering a programme of non-co-operation with the Government, as a protest against the Turkish peace terms, met in Calcutta under the Presidency of Tnla Taj pat Bey. Five thousand delegates were present. The President's address stated that tho Hindus would givo the Mohammedans unhesitating moral and constitutional support in their agitation to get tho terms revised. On tho nuestion of non-co-operation, he did not give a lead, and left the question to bo decided bv discussion in open congress. He concluded that he hoped the country would loyally accept what courso was adopted by the Congress—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
