FEW CASES REPORTED. The position of the Wellington publio health district with regard to infectiousdiseases *.s very satisfactory. Only 23 capes were reported for the week ended noon yesterday. For the previous week there were .ill notifications. Hospital districts which reported ca6o« of infectious diseases during the past week were:—Waipawa: pneumonia 1. Palmerston North"; lmeumouia 2.
