LEAGUE FOOTBALL
The Management Committee of tho Wellington liugby League met last evening, Mr. l r . C. Evans presiding. The manager's report of the Canterbury trip ivas received, and pleasure was expressed at the result both from a playing and financial aspect. It was decided to close die season next Saturday, when Petone play Suburbs for the senior championship at Petono No. 1 ground. Tho new Watersiders Club is to play Newtown at Newtown Park. Referees for next Saturday are:— Senior: Petono v. Suburbs, Petone No. 1. Mr. C. Murphy; Newtown v. Wntersidors, Newtown Park, Mr, Bradley. Juniors: Petone North t. Suburbs A Petone, Mr. Taplin; Central v. Petone, Petone No. 2, Mr. Goodall.
