Christchurch, August 31. _ At a meeting of the New Zealand Boxln n Council tho following resolution was carrif!:—"That this council regrets the action of the Queensland Association In altering tho date of the Australasian championships from September' to November in contravention of the agreement. The date fixed being not only contrary to tho agreement, but particularly unsuitable to New Zealand boxers, tho New Zealand Boxinp Council is reluctantly forcod to decline being rtpreeented at tho meeting to bo hold in Brisbane. .Br TelemDh—Pre™ AiuoclMlon.. Wanganui, August 31. The suspension -of Jimmy Clabby for six months 'by the Wanganui Boxing Association, for his failure to carry out his agreement to contest a match at Wanganui with Fritz Holland, has been endorsed by the New Zealand Boxing Council, The suspension is for six months from July 20.
