C, Ross, a former member of the Canadian Parliament for Sydney, Nova Scotia, has sent a challenge to tho New York Yacht Club for tho America Cup in 1922, on behalf of tho Nova Scotia Yaolit Club. The boat is to bo designed by an Englishman, built in Canada, and manned' liy Nova Scotia fishermen. Commodore Jarvis, of Toronto, is willing to be skipper. Tho Chnllenger will bo christened Maplo Leaf, and will cost • a million dollars, which will be raised by public subscription.--Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
