Tho Blacks now complete ly changed tho complexion of the game, and registered several fine tries, the 10milt of brilliant passing by tho backs and particularly dashing play by both the wingers, Storey and Steele. Tho former was tho first to cross, folio ved by Steele, whose try was converted b) Tilyard. Algar obtained tho ball from a scrum in front of the opponents' goal, and, running strongly, raced round the three-quarter and scored. Steele shorlly afterwards just beat Beilli for tho will, wheu over the Metropolitan line, making the 6cores: New Zealand, 17i Metropolitan, G. A faulty pass to Storey in a dangerous position gavo tho local team on opening, which _ Schute and Wogan accepted, a fine sprint eventually ending in the latter Mingny converted.
