MINERS RESUME WORK. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, July 23. The-miners at the Pukemiro Colliery who have lieen on strike for the last fhree days, decided yesterday to resume work this morning. The men held a stop-work meeting on Tuesday morning, and resolved not to resumo work until certain alterations had been made in connection with tlio trucking arrangement* at the mine. They complained thai, the grade at the face was ton steep for them to push the trucks up it. The luanagement announced that the matter had been amicably settled, and tlm:- tlio men had decided. to resume work thii morning, which they did.
