INFECTIOUS DISEASES
» CASES FOR PAST WEEK. During the wcok ended at noon yesterday 50 cases of infectious diseases were reported in the Wellington Public Health District, compared with 55 for .the previous week. Hospital districts which notified cases of infectious diseases were:—Waipawa: Diphtheria, 3; iiiiluem?a, 5. Palmerston North: Diphtheria, 5; pneumonia, 1; measles, 1; chickenpox, 1. Wellington: Scarlet fever, 3; diphtheria, 5; enteric fever, 2; tuberculosis, 3; corobrn-sphial meningitis, 1; inlluen&a, 3; pneumonia, 5; chickenpox, 2 Wairarapa: Scarlet fever, 3; diphtheria, 3; tuberculosis, 1, Nelson: Diphtheria, 1; influenza, 2.
