Sir.-In 1918 and 1919, when life Home ! cities were faced with a doubtful supply of electricity, they compelled business j houses and shops to close at 5 p.m., and in view of thte best shops closing at 5.30 voluntarily, it seems to me thatthe . most satisfactory idea is to bring a similar measure into force hero. I think that i every shopkeeper will gladly fall in with this proposition—l am, etc., N.M.S.
