V By Telerranh—Press Association. RolCTlia, July 5. General Birdwood visited the King G*orge Hospital and presented the.D.C.M. to Private A. G. Akroyd for gallantry at Bertincourt in September, 1918. Ho also visited the Maori village of Obinemutu, and was presented with a handsome kiwi mat. There was a Maori reccptioa to thi general' at Whokorewarewa this afternoon.
