DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION OPENED By Telegraph—Prow Association-Copyright San Francisco, June 28. Mr. M'Adoo's friends are announcing his willingness to accept nomination. The first stage of the battle will rage around Mr. Al'Adoo, Mr. Cox, and Mr.Palmer. Thie Democratic Convention opened today. It threatens to get out of the leaders' lmnds over the issues of prohibition, the League of Nations, and Ireland.
