The newspaper "Daily Province" says the oil famine threatens to cause a suspension, of tho production of paper in the British Columbia mills two months hence, cutting off the supply for newspapers on tho Pacific Coast. Sydney and Melbourne are also affected. The mills have been notified to expect only one more oil tanker each. It will take many months to convert the paper-making' plants to burn ioal.—Aus.-N.Z.
