IMPEOVBMBNT OF _ Tho annual nicotine of the New Zealand Bomney Marsh Sheep Breeders' Association was held at Palmerston North His week. Mr. A. Matthews presided. During the past year practically all the sheep in tho South Island had been registered in the F'.cck Book. Owing to tho work of their inspectors, it would not bo long before they had a flo.ck of the very highest jjtandard. In reference to the advertising of their (locks, he pointed out that an, outside market was necessary. They would, however, have to Seave over the question ot advertising till mere facilities for chipping were available. Ho was satisfied that in New Zealand more careful intention was paid to tho breeding of sheep than ill England. ' Mr. W. Perry supported the presidents remarks in connection with efforts to open, up again the South American irorkot. Mr. A. Matthews ivas re-etected president for th<f ensuing year, Mr. W. F. Jacob treasurer, and Messrs. A. H. M'Guire and J. Corps auditors; The North Island championship shield was w'.lotted to the Hawke's Bay A. ami P.
