ANNUAL MEihiriNG. 1 Tha annual meeting of tho New Zealand Co-op. Rennet Compajiy, Ltd., was held at Palmerston North this week. The directors reported a, very successful year, during which 513 keg3,oi rennet had been manufactured and delivered .from the - company's factory at Eltham. The ■ rennet was 'manufactured partly from veils secured last season and partly from this season's collection. During the past year 37,990 calf veils, of which were ■ supplied by shareholders .and 14,210 wero received jfroin outside .sources. - It'was proposed by the directors to increase the price to bo paid for veils during ( the coming season to 2s. 6d.. for first grade,. 2s. for second gradq, and Is.. for third grade. • In moving the adoption o£ the report Mr. H. D. Forsyth,_ who presided, spoke on the year's activities and was optimistic with regard to the future. He made ap appeal'to the farmers of the Dominion not to.waste one single veil, but to save and deliver them in good condition. Apart "from the fact that they had supplied factories with enough rennet to qan'y on with, the company had undoubtedly gone, a long way to keep down the prjoe, as had they had to indent the it .would have been much.more expensive to the factories. A general discussion followed, in which several members expressed pleasure . at, the good profit on the year's working—.£s*l 6s. lid.Tho report and balance-sheet wero adopted. Messrs; Forsyth and W. Fisher were elected directors.
