ARCHBISHOP MANNIX CHARGED WITH FAILING TO STAND.

(Ree. June 15, 0.50 p.m.) Now York, June 15. The "New York World" publishes a telegram from Washington stating that Mr. Marcellus Parsons and other passengers on the Ventura telegraphed to the State Department asserting that Archbishop Mannix failed to stand while the "Star-Spangled Banner" was played on board the Ventura in Honolulu Harbour. It- is understood the matter is being investigated. Arch-' bishop Manuix's version of the incident has not been received.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
