HUTT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
The monthly sitting of -the Lower Hutt Magistrate's Court was held yesterday, Mr. W. 0. Eiddell, S.M., presiding. For failing to attend drill, Thomas Francis Nyhan, against whom there were three previous convictions, was fined £3, in default twenty-one days' military detention,
In a judgment summons case, A Bice was ordered to pay E Bartosh the suin of £16 15s. 6d. on or 'before Juno 23, or undergo fourteen days' imprisonment. Judgment for plaintilT by default was given in the undefedel case W. Austin v. Arthur Coo for £2 10s. 3d., and .costs 10s.
Annie Carver was ordered to give up possession of a dwelling to P. Q'Callaghan uy August 2, and to pay costs 10s. 6il.
