COTTON-GROWING
PROPOSED QUEENSLAND EXPERIMENT. London, May 20. TEa Hon. J. M'Ewan Hunter, AgentGeneral for Queensland, has not yet received Manchester's suggestion regarding cotton-growing in .Queensland, and 16 unable io discuss tho project until there has been' a further meeting with the cotton-growers.
