BOXING
At the present time four of the foremoßt boxers in Australasia 'are visitors to Welling'oil, and opportunity has been taken by the local Boxing Association to give the public an opportunity of seeing these men in action. On Saturday night, at the Town Hall, "Fritz" Holland, "Tommy" and Havilah TJren, Eugene Yolulro, and local taicnt will appear in a series of training and sparring bouts. A- jmall chargc is being made for admission, the total of which is to be' devoted to the fund beng raised to finance a team of New Zealand athletes to the Olymnie Games at Antwerp. In view of I]\e good cause for which the evening is being promoted, it is expected that these will oe an overflow audience. Tho visitors and the local exponents have willingly given their Bervices, and vhilo it should bo understood that in no case, unless bo announced, will thero be an actual contest, the displays will be something more than that usually associated with an exhibition of boxing. Ladies are especially invited, and the executive state that they may rest assured of witnessing a clean entertainment. The doors will open at 7.30, while tickets will bo on salo outside the hall from 7 p.m.
