SKETCH EXHIBITION
The exhibition of sketches, which is to be open to the public nt the Art Gallory. Whitniore Street, for ono week from Saturday, promises to bo one of the most -successful yet hold by tho Academy. The number of works sent in constitutes a record, and the nil-round quality is considered by tho council tn be ahead of that of any previous year. This evening members of tho r.eademy will bo afforded a private view. In the absenco of the Mnyor, Airs. Luke has consented to open tho exhibition.
