The secretary of the New Zealand Poultry Association informs me that the request passed at last conference for all producers to pay 6d. per 100 dozen es£& marketed is meeting with unanimous support. Mr. WV Knieht. Lower Hutt, who belongs to 110 ess circlo, wrote this weeK approvinz of the system, and showed Jus practical support by forwardine a chcaue for £5 ss. for cites. marketed by him for year endin? March 31. 1920. Thia is the class of practical support that will make the New Zealand Poultry Association up to date. All societies that have voted on the matter havo agreed to support tho icnuest. . ■ Mr. J. B. Mcrrett will leave Jiew Zealand by the Toftoa on Friday next. It i» his intention to Bpend a holiday in California. During his visit .there,_ he will spend considerable time insnectinir Petaluma, tho Ereatest poultry district In the world. Mr. Merrett will retutu by the Niagara from Vancouver, and arrive In Auckland some time durinc July.
