(Rec. April 28, 9.35 p.m.)
Copenhagen, April 27. The elections resulted in a great defeat of. the late Government, resembling Mr. Asquitli's party defeat at the last elections. The result sliows the- King's accuracy in declaring that the former GovGovernment did not possess the confidence of the people. Mr. Christenden, leader of the Moderate Left has been summoned to form u Government. The Moderates and Conservatives secured 7G seats, against 59 by the Social Democrats and Radicals.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
