Hnwke's Bay A met Poverty Bay in Hie competition for tho Snvillc Cup. After a fast, interesting game, Hawke's Bay won by 7 goals to 3. The game was well contested, the players all putting i,n good work on good horses. The teams were: Hawko's Bav—J. Lyons, O. Nelson, P. M'Kcnwo, and W. M'Keii7.:e. Poverty Bay—P. Sherratt, G. Beyuolds, It. Sherratt, and J. E. Murphy. The game practically decides the destination-of the Saville Cup. Pnreora then met Hawke's Bay B. The former proved very much ahead of their opponents, and won by 13 to' 1. The score in not altogether an indication of the piny, which at .times was very even and fast.
