AN OPERATION YESTERDAY PATIENT'S CONDITION GOOD The Prime Minister (Riffht Hon. AY. F Mnssev) underwent im operation in tin Bo wen Sfa'ect Hospital yesterday mornint' An affection o£ tlie neck, which had been troubling Mr. Mnssev. for some time, made this necessary. Tho medical report issued subsecnicntly was that the operation had been performed successfully, and that. Mr. Massey's condition was entirelv satisfactory. Mr. .Massev is likely to be m hospital at least until the end of this week, and possiblv a little longer. The operation is not recrarded as of a serious_natua\ and the neriod of convalescence is not likely to be extended. The Prime _ Minister v'ill be unable to attend to official duties for a few davs. . Mr. Massev's condition was reported last evenine to be excellent.
