LAST OF N.Z.E.F. Headquarters' instructions have been issued for the demobilisation of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force 011 March .11 next. They will be retained in institutions and treated under much the same arrangements as now, but the separate Expeditionary Force organisation will not be continued. The difference for all ranks will be that they, will receive pensions instead of pay, nnd in the case of all men whoso injuries or state of health prevent them from following other own put ions for the timo being, they must rank as totally disabled, and receive the full pensions of t'ieir rank. Private soldiers will reeeivo ,£2 per week, instead of 355. tier week, but as the pension scale for officers doe* not. rise proportionately to pay. officers will receive less than they have been receiving as pay. AH ranks will receive 28 davs' privilege leave 011 pay, nnd tho pay will be granted, even though the lenve mny not be taken at once. There is provision for deferring the leave and the railway ticket until a man is fit to travel and enjoy his leave.
