ELECTION OF COUNCILLORS,
An 'election was held yesterday to fill two vacancies on the Eastbourne Borough Council, caused by the resignations of Councillors H. Foley and W. R..C. Macpherson. Last evening the returning officer (Mr. S. S. Heath) announced the result as follows-.— ' Giles, Thomas H 180 Bain, William ...". }»1 Ellison, John W .122 Messw. Giles and Bain were therefore declared elected. ;
