PRISONERS SENTENCED
(By Teleßranli-I'ress Association.) Auckland, February 21.Several prisoners were sentenced at the Supreme Court to-day. Tukarawa Pomare, alias David Uaric, for breaking, entering and theft was ordered to be detained for reformative treatment for three yean. Charles Patrick M'Alister, for theft, was sent to gaol for 12 months, that term to bo followed by three years reformative treatment. John Jenkins, who had a bad recoTd, was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for theft, and was declared an habitual criminal. Frederick George Smith, for theft, was ordered to be detained for reformativetreatment for three years.
