STEAMER QUARANTINED. Sydney, January 6. The steamer Roggevocn, recently from New Caledonia, has been quarantined, as there is an outbreak of influenza on board. A cable from Noumea states that one of tho steamer's patients who was landed there developed smallpox, and others developed influenza. Several of the latter died. The victims are. coolies. —Press' Assn.
