» FASSENGER SERIOUSLY INJURED. dy Telocrapb—Preßß 'Association Palmerston North, January 1. A motor-car driven by a taxi proprietor named Sueight collided with a bridge at Awahuri, and caught fire. Ono passenger was seriously injured, and is now in hosuital. Another, who has a broken collarbone, was pinned beneath tho car, and was rescued at tho last moment. The car was insured in tho Stato Fire office for ,£2lO.
