ROWING EVENTS DECIDED.

Tho Otago regatta, postponed from Boxing Day, was held in the lower harbour to-diiv, when tho water was prncVcallv ideal for rowing, though tho ■wind was not sufficient for the sailing events. The principal races resulted as under:— SENIOR FOURS. First prize, .£ls; ee> ond, JCS. Union Rowing Club (Christcliurch), 11. Adkins (stroke), I. Adkms (3), A. C. Pin wall (2), W.' Duggan , ;bow) V Port Chalmers Rowing Chib, No. J crew. .T. Thomson (stroke), D. Percy (3), J. Glcncarry (2), R. Thomson (bow) •••••. 2 Also started: Queen's Drive Rowing Club, Port Chalmers Rowing Club, AO. j crew. Won by a length and a half, the second crew belli? two lengths m advance of Queen's Drive. Tune.
