CANTERBURY PRODUCE MARKET
By Telegraph—Press Association. Cliristchurch, December 9. The grain and produce market is assuming ite usual Christmas inactivity, and there is no variation in prices to record sinco last week. There will bo little "doing now until after the holidays. The sharp inquiry for chaff that marked last,week has slackensd somewhat. Although there is no alteration in 'quotations, good oaten sheaf being worth X 8 pgr ton at -wayside stations, oats are still in firm demand, with limited supplies. There is no wheat offering, and the market for old potatoes is over.
