STAR BOATING CLUB. In the Rt.ir Boating Club's Trial Fours, Wnkelin (str.), Brown (3), Herd (2), and \e!«r>n i'oow) had nn easy v'ctory over Diehl (sir.), Oborn (3), Pringle :2), nnd Wakelin (bow). This leaves Wakelin's and M'Grath'.s crews in tho final, which ■'s to be rowed as soon as tho weather permits. The club's crews did well .it Petone's inter-clu'i) regatta last Saturday, being placed in all tho events in which they started. In the youths' fonre a-nd the junior fours thtiy'were placed firsthand in the irrUlpii four,? second. The win in the junior fours was quite unexpected, as the crew cons'-sted entirely of youths who had all rowed in previous laces the s&top nftQrnnon.
