Lord Frcnch and the whole of his staff at Dublin' Castle are constantly guarded, as it is feared that attempts will be made on their lives. Thero are pending also expected efforts to blow up the Government buildings. It is known that the Sinn Feiners havo collected a vast stock of high explosives which they are turning into bombs. Tho supplies ooine mainly from Scotland, whence sympathising minors send gelignite. Constant outrages are being perpetrated in the country districts, such as tho burning of ricks and farm implements where farmers aro known to have had dealings with Unionists or Orangemen—Aus.-N.Z.
