RELIEF BILL IN NEW SOUTH WALES MOVEMENT TO SAVE THE STOCK (By Teleßraph--Pres3 Assoeiation-Cosrrleht (Rec. December 2, 10.5 p.m.) Sydney, December 2. Tho Minister of .Lands, in moving tho second reading of tho Farmers' Drought: Belief Bill, providing for an advance of ono million and a moratorium, said that tho drouglit was affecting seven-eights of the State, and was rooro serious than tho Government had ever had to deal with. Tho Bill was read a sccond time. A movement is on foot to bring stock from tho drought-stricken, areas to depasture on vacant lands in the suburbs. Centennial Park will bo utilised by the Government for fivo hundred stud sheep from the Nyngan Experimental Farm. The sheep are now starving.—Press Assn.
