DIVORCE COURT

His Honour the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) yesterday heard the petition of Nollio Allen, who sought a dissolution of her marriage with Archibald George James Allen on the ground of desertion. Mr. W. L. Rothenberg appeared for the potitioner. The parties were married in August, 1905, at Christchurch, and lived at Sydenham and Kaiapoi. There were three children living. In August, 1014. respondent deserted her and refused to return, and had not maintained her or her children. Allen was nt present managing- Lloyd's jewellery shop in Cuba Street. Corroborative evidence having been given, His Honour granted a decreo nisi, to bo mo\ed absolute in three months, with costs against the respondent. The petitioner was given custody of the youngest child,
