DEATH FROM EXPOSURE
An inquest was held yesterday by Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., on (he body of Richard James Davis, who. wns found dead on the Kilbirnie side of Mount Victoria on Sunday afternoon. Acting-Senior-Sergeant Wade' conducted the inquiry on behalf of the police. Dr. W. Kington Fyffe said that death was due to exposure. The deceased was an old man suffering from cancer. Thomas J. Davis, a brother of the deceased, said that deceased was G5 years of age. and had been an invalid for soma years. Deceased was a married man and was survived by a wife, also an invalid, and a grown-up son. Deceased had been an inmate- of the Wellington Hospital for the past two months. A verdict of death from exposure vet returned.
