ROSE SHOW

The annual show of Hie Wellington Tiose and Carnation Club is to be held at the Town Hall to-day, the official opening bv His Excellency the Governor taking place at 3 p.m. Judging by the largo number of entries received, a very successful show is anticipated. Particular interest in being manifested in the suburban sections, and there is expected to be very keen competition in these classes. Roses will be on Rule during the nfteriinon and evening for the purpose' of which a special stall is being erected, and which will l)e in charge of Mrs. (Dr.) Hislop. Tea will be served during the afternoon, and an orchestra will dispense music both in tho afternoon and evening.
