MR. SIDEY AT DUNEDIN
THE ROWDY EXTREMISTS AGAIN. By TelcEraph—Pre6a Association. Dunedin, November 21. Mr. T. K. Sidey, speaking in the Liberal interests at South Dunedin, bad to contend with frequent interruptions from a action of the audience. Uproar followed Councillor Bradley's statement that he would vote for Mr. Sidey rather than for' the Labour Party, which would sell the country to the Huns. The candidate reviewed the Liberal Isgislation, contending that there had been no progressive reforms since the present Government had been in power. Tineica.ndidate referred particularly to land aggregation. Mr Sidey favoured nationalisation of the coal mines as recommended by the Board ot' Trade to conserve the resources of the country in the best interests of the community. the State not necessarily to work the mines, but to lease them under stringent conditions. He referred at length to his'own record. The candidate was accorded a vote of confidence.
