Dr. Kobert Esler, of 1 Queen's Road, Pockhim, formerly surgeon to the Metropolitan Police and author of a book, "Disposal of the Dead," who left estate valued at. 4)3135. stated in his will that ho wished to be clad in his evening dress suit buried in a pUin, porishnblo coffin in any cometery his executors might select.
Dr. Esler held strong views on the disposal of tlie dead, and objected lo tho use of wooden collins, believing that tho body should be buried in n perithablo coffin mads of wicker.
