BOWLING CLUB'S CONCERT
The concert given at Island Hay Town Tlall on Thursday evening, under tho auspices of the Island Bay Bowling Club, whs ono of exceptional merit. Tho opening overtures were played to each part of the programmo by tho club's orchestra, other tans being contributed ns follow:— Vocall-parts by'Jliss Mnrjorio Clark nnd lira. Pizer,'Messrs. O. AustinBlnckio, W. Goiulie, S. Allwright, It. Meatcs, Verdi Mackenzie. Elocutionary itmns by Messrs. Alt' Spencer nnd Frascr Thompson, nnd an instrumental item by Mr. V. Brown. Every item on iho programmo whs encored, and in somo cases double encores were insisted upon.
