It iippears that the brokers lmve, since tho Imperial requisition eliminated the wool ; auctions, discontinued the practice of i issuing tlieso catalogues after tho season's sales, and it is claimed by the grow...er's that the,.brokers received a cbmmis- ~~ sion for, services' which should include thedssue of the catalogue. ■ Several' members spoko of tho desirability of. having the catalogue, and some i of them, notably Mr, M'Callum, expressi. Ed indignation at the action of the brokers in refusing to print it. Mr. Forbes took tho opportunity of asking a question about the surplus pro'fcts from, the sale of wool, i Miussey said that ho had recently ■cabled to-the Imperial Government for .'friftirmiation'.'regardiug tho surplus wool profits, .and "had received a reply stating ; jthat.jjt, was not yet possible to state what ' ih'e amount'would be, beomso a portion "of'tlie 1917' clip was still in store, while a large portion of tho 1918 clip had not ; yet leached the market.
