: X'TJie exhibition of slock at-the Waira- . Wednesday and Thursday next is'. expected to bo the best that has ever been held on the Carterton showgrounds. In numbers the stock entries easily exceed the previous best record, and the total, including dogs, produce, industrial, and school sections, is a long way in excess of those received at any previous show. In all sections i of purobred cattle, sheep, and pigs, there is' very strong competition, and those exhibitors securing tho prizes will have reason to bo proud of the fact. Tho showgrounds will bo connected with tho telephone during show week.
