SUPPRESSED PAPERS MAY BE REVIVED
CONSTABLES EQUIPPED WITH BOMBS

Tho suppression of the Irish papers was due to the publication of the prospectus of the Sinn Fein national loan. It is believed that all will be revived shortly, as vlio authorities are willing to restore the essential parts of tho presses which were seized recently. It is announced that ■ the National Development Company is prepared to advance one hundred and fifty million sterling in wans to enable the Irish municipalities to build working-dass houses. The company now proposes to expend many more millions in constructing three new shipbuilding yards at Dublin.—"The Times." ■■ HAND GRENADES ISSUED TO CONSTABULARY. (Rec. September 22, 11.15 p.m.) London, September 21. The Irish constabulary has been armed with hand grenr.des. owing to the Sinn Fein attacks. PUBLIC ASSEMBLIES BANNED
London, September 21). A military order issued in Ireland prohibits public assemblies, including fairs and markets, in County Tipperary and part 9- f County Galway. .The political correspondent of "Tho Times" says that Mr. Lloyd George proposes to take the Irisli miration in hand, and luvs summoned Lord French to London. Ho nnds the problem more difficult than'it. was three months ago. Tho 'temper of tho Nationalists is sullen and exasperated, whilst the crop of crimes has thrown even the most moderate ■Unionists back upon an immovable policy of law, and order.—"The Times."
