LYALL BAY RATEPAYERS' ASSOCIATION
.4 A representative meeting of Lyall Bay residents was hold on Thursday night for the mirnose of reviving tho Lynll Bay Ratenavers' Association, which had been inactive durintc tho war period. Keen interest was manifested in tho election of officers for the year, the result being as follows:—President Mr. F. J. Evans; viccnresidents. Messrs. T, M. Donovan, J. H. Rvder. J. Rod, C. Blake, and T. Ewing; committee. Messrs. G. J. Ryder, A. Whitehead. W. Gemmell, F. ■ Palethorpe, T. Porter J. xVicol. 11. Death, and S. flambrill: secretary-treasurer, Mr. R. L. •Tnnns. A nroirressive policy was advocated by various: stieakers,- and suggestions for tho imnrovement of tho tram service, tho beach, tho promenade, and generally attending to the welfare of the district, were referred to the executivo for immediate consideration.
