CANDIDATES FOR WAIRARAPA. Mr. C. Danahey, a resident of Featherston, announces his intention of contesting the Wairarapa seat, and will open his campaign at Martinborough to-night. Mr. J. T. M. Hornsby, the present member for Wairarapa, will again be a candidate at the coming elections. MEMBER- FOR EGMOaT NOT SEEKING RE-ELECTION. Sy Telezrapli—Association. Eltham, August 18. A meeting of supporters of Mr. C. A. Wilkinson, M.P., was held this afternoon, when he definitely announced that lie would not be a candidate for re-elec-tion at the forthcoming Parliamentary poll. A further meeting, is to be called to select a successor.
