Sydney, August 17. It transpires.that tho seamen's re6olutions cabled yesterday correctly interpreted the men's attitude. The present .ixjeition is that the meeting stands adjourned until Senator Millen makes a definite statement. No ships will be manned until further notice. The latest developments had caused consternation among shipowners, many of whom had made all preparations to dispatch their steamers to-morrow.—Press Assn. COAL RESTRICTIONS REIMPOSED Melbourne, August 16. Tie Government is reimposing all coal restrictior>R from to-day. Ten thousand workers will ba rendered idle.—Press Aesn.
