THAT INCIDENT AT VERSAILLES
EX-PREFECT REINSTATED. (llec. August 8, 5.5 p.ui.) Paris, August 7. ,M. Chaleil, ex-Prefect of Seinc-et-Oise, who was dismissed owing to tho attack on the departing German delegates at Versailles, has been reinstated in view of the finding of-3. commission that the incident was due to the Germans.—Editor. [When the German delegates were leaving Versailles a hostile demonstration by tho crowd led to certain of tho delegates being roughly handled, and, as a result, the Prefect, ST. Chaleil, was.dismissed.]
