GERMAN MERCHANT SHIPS
DISGUISKD AS DUTCH. Paris, July 30. The Peace Committee of the Chamber of Deputies pointed out that the Germans had disguised a number of merchant ships as Dutch for service in South America. M. Clemenceau replied that Germany had pledged them to Prance under the Treaty, and they would .not bo allowed to be diverted.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
