Y.W.C.A. APPEAL COLLECTORS
Sir—ln connection with tho effort to raise money which is at present being made by tho Young Women's Christian Association some fino generous-hearted citizens (men and women) have been out to collect money. In spmo instances insinuations have been mado that the collectors are working on commission. Permit me, through your columns, to assure tho public that no commission is being paid, of even has been paid, to any of the collectors of money for tho Y.W.C.A. The efforts of theso voluntary workers aro prompted entirely by their interest in tho welfare of tho guls of out community.—l am, etc., N. H. PEARSON, President, Y.W.C.A. Wellington, August I, 1919.
