A farewell meeting is being tendered to Mr. E. C. Hrownell at tho Y.M.C.A., Willis Street, on Sunday afternoon at & o'clock. Mr. Brwvnell has been National General Secretary of tho Y.M.C.A. for tho past few years, and leaves next week to take up an important position in Australia. Mr. Brownell's- work in New Zealand has been characterised by a big vision and great organising ability. Ho will be tho speaker at the meeting on Sunday, and his subject will bo "The New Bra,"
