FIRES
The placing of an electric radiator in a bed to warm the clothes resulted in an outbreak of fire in tho residence of Mrs. Frances Griggs, at No. 119 a Tinakori Eoacl, yesterday morning at eight o'clock. The application of the chemical appliance bv tho fire brigade soon had the flames under control, and the damage was confined to tho bedroom smd its contents. The. house, which is owned by Mr. F. T. Shcriss, was insured for ,£1250 in the British Dominions office, and the same offioe had a risk of .£2OO on the furniture and effects. Protect yourself by installing the "Minimax" Fire Extinguisher.
